In this course you will be in the unique position of being a student and a teacher. You will also be a community activist and guide a group of middle school students to achieve goals related to a community project. You will get to experience neighborhoods of DC that you probably have not yet seen. You will also continue our community of scholars from Fall 2006. This is a rare opportunity to incorporate class activites and learning with field-based work in the community. |
